About Us

UPDATE: Over the last couple years the FSRC has been branching out in more fields than we originally thought of. For this reason we are working on renaming the project "FCRC" (Family Computer Resource Center) since what we actually do has gone far beyong "software". Please see the "Services" page for more information on what aditional services we render to the public.

The goal of this site is simple really. This site is a place where you can find an array of various software and reviews about them. The site majors on alternatives to the more mainstream software which can either empty ones pocket pretty quickly, or lead to the temptation to acquire the high-priced software through illegal means.

The software we present here is Freeware, Free Software and Open Source software. Much of the software is almost completely unheard of, except for those who take the time to search for it.

We offer the service to you with the aim of saving you the time and hassle of having to search for software solutions yourself.

If you are looking to obtain competitive and good quality software free-of-charge, or for a decent price, this is the place for you.

On the other hand if you are someone who believes that "high-price = high-quality" and that "low-price = low quality", than you would be good to visit www.adobe.com or www.microsoft.com, or one of the other mainstream software sites.
